data loggers/custom ecu
Besides the mega squirt guys, who else runs these?
I'm looking at a data logger/ afr gauge from innovative motorsports.
It'll set me back about 300$, but I don't think that's bad since most afr are 200-250
Was also liking the other gauges but I'll slowly work them into my truck.
I have a 85 f250 with a built six and zf5.

My Nissan is getting a custom built 331 with a ZF. I need this kit to replace all the Nissan stuff and still have OBDII scanning capability. And it's fully tune capable. I've seen a lot of 240sx guys use the Mega Squirt for their turbo 4's.

Curious what you all find available on the market, I tend to like the innovate stuff.
There is more to log on a carb setup. You guys mentioned AFR and vacuum. I also very much like tuning with exhaust temp and it can be logged. Very easy to add a knock sensor, TPS, and of course add in logging RPM. All good info for tuning.
Really anything that can be electronically monitored can be logged, oil pressure, speed, temps, etc. etc.
I've yet to find a cost effective system that can do all that though. This sucker is $500 to start, I'm sure it adds up quick with all the add ons though. DL-32: Datalogger and Sensor Controller
Hmmm after looking closer I might just have to get that sucker.
EDIT, wow $99 bucks for 32 channel innovate data logging. I'm glad I looked closer at these guys, been a while I kinda wrote them off as too expensive, but that's a lot of bang for the buck. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/pl1.php

I was looking at the other one. For 99$.
And then combo a few gauges. I'm not building a car, and I don't want/need that many things.
More or less curious as to how she runs at what rpm and such, also I have a few mechanical gauges already that would be a pain to swap out.
Actually not really, I might just slowly get all their stuff. The digital afr has a serial port too.

Me personally I'm all about diesels these days, they don't cater to diesel but much could work. 8 channel EGT, boost, fuel flow/usage, back pressure, etc, looks like it would all be doable rather cost effectively with there stuff.
