I can tell you for a fact that my egr valve had no residue on it after 20,000mi using 160z. of powerservice in every tank. Is it the powerservice keeping it clean? I don't know, but vloney believes the 6.0 can not tolerate poor fuel quality, and that is where many issues begin. From my experience powerservice does what it claims. When I tow 14k I put 32z in the tank and the truck definitely downshifts less. Why use 2 stroke oil and make your truck a guinea pig? I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but why experiment in such an expensive machine?

I have looked at Moparman's site and there is some good info on there and some other I wonder why he has down. Although I am not a mechanic, I agree with Vloney's assesment that poor fuel is the downfall of a lot of these trucks. I dont agree with Moparman's assement on Cetane, I dont think you can have too much cetane and I think that is one of the reasons why some of the guys on here get the crappy mileage with thier trucks.

Moparman's site really zeros in on lubricity but fuel addatives do so much more. The good ones also deal with water in the fuel, raise cetane, clean and lubricate. I am intrigued by what guys are saying about the 2 stroke oil but I dont think it will do much other than adding lubricity. Does anyone know what it does to the cetane rating? I would be using B5 if I could find it.

Adding lubricity is pretty much all it does Duffman. It does nota for the cetane rating.

Very intriguing. At 50,000 miles on my 6.0 I have used PS at least every other fillup. I think I should pull and clean my EGR, take some before pics and post some results after a 10,00 miles of TCW-3.

My neighbor has @ 10 gallons I can get my hands on for a little bit'o nothing. He's got Quicksilver brand and I only run yamalube in my yami's.
