Question 7.3l interchange

hey fellas i found a 89 7.3l engine for $300 i just wanted to know if the parts would interchange with a 90 7.3l also its supposed to have only 68,000 miles on it and it was in a ambulance that got wrecked.

Same engine-It may have low milage but they let those trucks sit there and just run forever.

yeah, they swap same for same, just a PITA to do because of weight. i wouldn't worry about the mileage too much if it's been properly serviced. i would check the coolant to make sure they had the proper DCAs in the fluid to know there was less chance of cavitation eating through the cylinder walls.
