Actually I have already pulled the engine out and stripped to the block and will be bolting the new engine together Saturday morning. The engine and tranny must come out together so I pulled the subframe, struts, rack, axles and all. There is actually plenty of room to pull the engine itself out the top or through the front but being fwd the engine sitting sideways there is not enough room to seperate the engine from the tranny, the front of the engine hits the frame rails. Take the hood off and the whole panel below the windshield that the wipers are mounted to,it all comes off in a matter of minutes, some 18 or so bolts and screws.Once those are off theres plenty of room, hell even the upper rad support will pop off with a couple bolts. This would be such an easy job if all it needed was head gaskets but unfortunately thats not the case here.
