Magnaflow Dual Rear 6.5' Bed??

I have an '06 FX4 Supercab & 6.5' bed. I wanted to get the Magnaflow Dual Rear Exit Exhaust 16614 but read that it won't work with my truck due to the longer bed. Anyone know if this is true and if so does Magnaflow make an extension pipe for this? If not has anyone made a modification to make this work with the 6.5' bed? Any suggestions? Thanks!

It will NOT work. I am living proof that it will not work... or should I say "work well". - Roush Off Road.

Jsk,

Well I checked into getting one for my SCrew 6.5 bed, but they dont make one and claim that the one for the 5.5 bed wont work.
Seems like they could just send a longer section of pipe to make it work, but guess theres more to it then that..

Thanks guys! I did hear that it definitely won't work with the Supercrew but some said it would work with the Supercab/Extended Cab with 6.5' bed. Don't know why Magnaflow doesn't have an extension or different exhaust that would work for the Supercrew cause there are alot of em out there.

I had the 16614 on my 2004 F150 SuperCab FX4 with the 6.5 foot bed and didn't have any problem with fit or installation. Now the SuperCrew with the 6.5 foot bed is another situation altogether.

Does anybody make a full exhaust for a SC with the 6.5' bed?

Magnaflow 16614 fit my 04 super cab with 6.5ft bed. The kit comes with two different primary exhaust tubes to fit both the super cab and super crew. If you have the trailer package you will need to modify where the last rear hanger bolts, but it's a very easy fix. Only parts that don't come with the kit are an exhaust clamp and the two bolts to relocate the exhaust hanger. Just pick up a 3" clamp and two 3/8's nuts and bolts. Great quality product!

4DOORSR Thanks for the info! I see you have the 2.5" AS Was thinking about getting a set for mine. Do you recommend the 2.5" or maybe 2"? I do a little towing with a 14' trailer for my quads n some hauling but not too much.

If you're going to leave the rear alone, go with the 2". But if you eventually want to add a leaf or two in the rear I would go 2.5".
