external is FT145 and I got mine from powerstrokeshop.com for I think 24 bucks after shipping.

Torqeshift ext trans filter
The filter listed listed below is the same exact filter as the FT145 but also includes the gasket. NTZ makes the filter for Ford. Ford doesen't include the o-ring though.

If the o-ring is in good shape (no nicks or tears), it should be re-usable. Rubber in this service holds up quite well (as compared to diesel fuel service). I usually will replace them anyway (as long as I have a new one), but it really is overkill.
