7.3 What Antifreeze Do I Use???

I need to change my coolant and the manual says not to use any antifreeze containing alcohol or ethylene. I saw a thread on here that states Ford no longer recomends Propyleneglycol? products either. So what brand should I use? Please help as I am a little low on coolant after changing a hose.

Thanks

Any Ethylene glycol-based coolant, preferably low-silicate for green coolant. Don't forget the additive..Ford P/N FW-15 or FW-16, Fleetguard P/N DCA4. one pint of the additive for every two gallons of coolant/water at a change, 8 to 10 oz of the additive to the cooling system every 15000 miles.

any of these should be fine..
Prestone heavy duty (in the black bottle)
Zerex 5/100 (white bottle)
Peak full force or advance
Texaco antifreeze/coolant
Shellzone premium
and actually Walmart Super Tech will work, too.

If you have one of the yellow coolant trucks, use Motorcraft Premium Gold Long Life Antifreeze, Zerex G05 (gold bottle), Peak Global Lifetime (gold bottle) or Peak Extended Life CF-EXL (silver bottle).
