Oil Level Rising.... How to check injectors?

Well, I've been noticing my oil level creeping up, and by creeping I mean about 2-3 quarts in 2000 miles. I drained some out today for the second time to keep it from being over full and I'll be changing oil this weekend.

From what I've read this is most likely a cracked o-ring in an injector. I'm not showing any CEL codes. Is there a way to find out which injector is leaking other than pulling all 8 and having them tested?

Also, if anyone has done this, how big of a job is it to change injectors? I pulled and cleaned my turbo a few weeks ago, so I guess anything should be better than that

Thanks...

First:

Runs Rough, Lack of Power, Oil Level Overfull/Fuel in Oil:
This may be due to fuel leaking through or around one or more fuel injectors. There is a comprehensive TSB that has step-by-step diagnostic procedures to isolate the problem to determine in which bank the leak is occurring and to identify which injector and whether it is an o-ring or an injector failure. Note: If more than four quarts of fuel is present in the oil, the turbo charger shaft end play must be inspected. If end play is greater than 0.004", or if the compressor fins have come into contact with the housing, the turbo must be replaced. After replacing any leaking injectors, the oil and filter should be replaced and the truck driven 20 miles. These steps need to be done twice more before releasing the vehicle.
TSB #04-9-3.

You may want to look up this TSB. I will try also.

Also -

6.0 Injector Removal/Installation:
It should be noted that injector serve on the 6.0 is different than on the 7.3. No air tools should be used in removal or installation of the injectors to prevent damage to the injector. A T-40 Torx bit with a minimum shaft length of 2" is require to ensure proper torque of the injector (24 ft/lbs) and to prevent the drive tool from contacting the injector and damaging it. New o-rings and combustion seals should be used any time an injector is removed. Care should be taken when installing the high oil pressure rail to prevent damage to the upper injector o-rings.
TSB# 03-20-10

Last bit I have stored in my spreadsheet ..........

The Ford manual says make 5 wop throttle passes back to back to get the air out of the oil system it always does it when you put new injectors in.

Thanks Bismic! I found the TSB here:
04-9-3***DRIVEABILITY - RUNS ROUGH AND/OR LOW POWER - 6.0L DIESEL ENGINE ONLY***ENGINE - FUEL IN OIL - 6.0L DIESEL - INJECTOR DIAGNOSTICS

I guess I get to play with UV dye now, just need to set aside some time to do it. Hopefully it is an external injector seal that's bad and not an internal seal so I don't have to buy a new $200 injector.

I'm going to go through the TSB procedure this weekend, but I had a questions that hopefully someone can help me with.

After putting UV dye in the fuel, it says to "Turn on fuel pump using WDS Active Commands". I'm assuming this means using their diagnotics tool. Can I just turn the key to the ON position (not start it) to turn on the fuel pump? Will this cause any problems? Will this cycle the injectors at all and put dyed fuel in the cylinders throwing off the test? Also, the crank is drained for this test, will it throw any fits about turning the key to ON with the oil drained and filter housing removed?

If running the pump with the key turned to ON won't work, can I "hotwire" the pump? Anybody know what wires to connect and what voltage is needed?

Thanks!
