Kind of useless, as the closest I can find is Abbotsford. No listing for GVRD other than Abbotsford or Mission.

Flatdeck is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.Flatdeck is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
That's because there IS no cheap gas in the Metro Vancouver area.

I paid $1.33/litre for diesel today. What a joke.

GasTips.com | Consumer-submitted gas prices throughout Canada and the United States used to be good for Lower Mainland drivers; I haven't checked it in a few years.

Flatdeck that is a joke for diesel. They are making it really hard to be able to drive these days.

Mr. Fixit is starting off with a positive reputation.
The 'good days' are over - I can't rationalize driving our F250 with its 460 engine anymore. When the policy lapses, I'll just buy day permits ($26) whenever I want to haul stuff and try to find someone to take her off my hands.... 5-12 mpg doesn't make economic/environmental sense.
On the bright side, GM has promised to sell the "Volt" by november 2010. so Ford will have to follow suit. If an electric F250 is available by 2015, I should be able to buy a decent used one by 2025 or so! Let's see, I'll be 77 years old then... still driving and willing to learn some new tricks?

Yep.. By this time next month I'll have a scooter or something and I'll pull the tags off the truck all together... I'm tired of feeding the beast every week. I want something that only has to be fed once a month.

Preppy: It's been a while since I rode my old bike - the seat is too narrow for my fat **** - almost bisected me last time. More and more it will be the Vancouver Transit buses for me.
Saw a neat tiny 4X4 5 speed right-hand-drive Subaru 660cc supercharged van with huge sunroof. The owner told told me you can pick them up for about $9k straight from Japan but I wonder about parts & service. He said he gets 40-50mpg. It sure looked tempting and practical but a little bit crazy...
The scooter route would be fun in summer, but I'd get killed for sure... I clearly remember riding a Norton 750 Commando in the 60s - there were too many close calls back then.

Mr. Fixit: there is a Suzuki 660 Carry (mini pickup) by my work. Damn that thing is cool, but GUTLESS. My 1988 Suzuki Forsa had more poop and it was a 3cyl 1L engine.

Yes, with only 660 cc, I'll bet even a supercharged version will be no dragster (that's only 2/3 the size of your Forsa engine!). Still, it may work out for me. I plan to go down to "Maximum Overdrive" in Richmond and test drive one of these little wonders.
With some sturdy ramps, I could park it in the bed of my F250! Wouldn't take up any more space....

My Forsa 4dr was the same length as a 2dr Civic, and 4ft wide. It was a great little car for off-roading because it was so narrow.
