Part Identification Help Please

I was checking transmission fluid and think I disconnected a wire/sensor?

I placed the wire over a small port that was exposed and it fit... before I start the truck, what is it????

Well,.....

Can't post attachments....

Post the picture to a hosting site and link the image to here.

Without a photo, all we can do is guess. My guess is that it might be the flux capacitor or even the discombobulator.

While you're at it (and not before) identify what you're working on. We aren't very good at guessing.

If it is he should leave them disconnected. I took them off mine and it runs better!

But if the wire fits you must call quits. You can't plug it in in the wrong place ( all the connections are different- so who cares? Just start the truck and be done with it.

Any idea? What is it? Is that the correct place for the "wire?"

That's the heater cut-off valve.

As I mentioned before,

Thanks sho.

I was just checking the transmission fluid (as stated in my OP) and I "think"
the stick may have caught the wire...I didn't see it happen. Just heard the "click" and saw the wire hanging there. I looked to see where it might belong and saw the valve opening. It fit, but I wasn't sure what it was.

Now the question begs. "Was it unplugged?" or did I catch it with the transmission dipstick and unhook it?

I just purchased the truck Saturday so I'm wondering if the seller had "unplugged" it for any particular reason...

Thanks again for the ID help.

If I'm looking at the picture correctly that looks like the vacuum line to the heater control valve.

I think you're right. Would there be any reason that it was disconnected??
Pretty sure I caught it, but I'm wondering if it was already unplugged.
