coolant additives and other ??

I just got my 91 f-350 2 wheel drive crew cab 7.3 idi w/e40d trans. I want to change engine oil and filter, fuel filter I picked up most of this stuff at walmart. got fram oil, air, fuel filters ford diesel engine oil 15-40 and i also got a 96oz jug of Power Service diesel fuel supplement to add to fuel. This is my first diesel and i just wanna do this right I rely on this vehicle for work and camping/traveling. My big question is Im half afraid of messing with the fuel filter because I read some probs fellas had with air in the lines and no start up. What is the best tried and true method for changing fuel filters and is the fuel supplement I got any good? I think im ok on the oil change Although I did pick up small bottle of oil additive to reseal the engine seals I got small dripping at the rear main and front main. Is this ok to use? Now as to coolant question I read in this forum that one must be carefull about coolant eating the cylinder walls. How do I prevent this? Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. And any other preventitive ideas Thanks Guys

The coolant doesn't eat the cylinder walls. When the cylinder walls flex air bubbles form and they bust and damage the cylinder walls. You want to keep that straight. If you need to add DCA or SCA drain some coolant and mix it up. Don't just pour it in the rad.
I always pre-fi;; my fuel filter and it does fine. It may burp but it will be fine. If it does die crank it over. It should fire on up.

Verified 19 mpg city taking off slow as hell the shutting down at red lights, and with the radiator grill blocked flush, no bed cover, "drag shoot" mirrors on I get 24 mpg at 50 to 55 mph on the freeway empty!
However, with a bed cover, no mirrors and Hydroxy
