I got a little more low end, and gained 3-4 mpg. I'm averaging 20-22 mpg on the highway now.

Just installed my 5" turbo back strait pipe.

This thing is evil sounding. Even better mileage, monster turbo noise, lots of smoke, and amazing power!!! Video will be coming soon.

Sorry, its just not doing anything for me. Sounds like a crown vic exhuast with muffler and cat, being revved up. If you really want to open it up, why do you not just remove one of the turbos that act as an restriction in the flow of exhaust, then she will breath. I cant think of a better way to screw with a $45,000 dollar truck.

Bottom line, with twins, and those injectors, it does not sound right. It sounds like the EPA complient vehicle it was designed to sound like. Why do you guys buy these to just tear them down. It just does not make sense to me. I am not harrasing you all, just asking a serious question. There are so many other decisions when buying a diesel if you want a loud truck.

Because after I took the DPF off I gained 4 mpg. And with these taken off this truck sounds just like any other PowerStroke made in the past, just with more turbo whine. Not to mention that it's a video camera, the sound isn't all that great. You say taking one of the turbos off will make it breath, I'd like to see one turbo make 42 psi of boost on this thing.

Another Video, DPF and Cat removed in this one.

The videos do not do it justice....I dont have my cat deleted...yet....but my truck with just the DPF deleted sounds very good, much deeper and more throaty than stock....not like a "crown vic" at all.

Why buy them to tear into them? Well...IMO its the nicest truck Ford has ever put out...the inside is FAR above anything else out there....I just dont like the choked down exhaust...not cause I am a noise freak, I actually like it quiet...but I really enjoy more power, and 4mpg over stock.

Exactly, and I hate leaving anything on my truck stock. I need to do a post one day with all the mod's I've done.
