Dirty engine compartment

I have a 05 Excursion with the v10. Every time I access the engine compartment I find an oil film all over everthing. It is a lot worse than diesels I have owned. Since it is a pita to wash these engines I have to spend 30 minutes or so wiping everything down with a rag. It is not losing oil on the dipstick. Any idea where the oil film could be coming from? Thanks

Check the elbow that the PCV valve attaches to.
