Unhappy 1985 6.9ltr Just died

So yesterday after filling up at the diesel station with diesel at the price of $4.59 a gallon i get on the freeway to go enjoy my weekend. 20miles into the drive my truck just dies. went from crusing 65mph to no power to nothing. Coast to the side of the road thinking its the relay or selinod on the passenger side wheel but its not. Tow it back to my house and i can't find what is wrong with it. it was For sure diesel that i pumped into my tanks. When the key is in ignition and turn to start or on position nothing. no headlights, warning lights, radio nothing works....and i have no idea what it is. batteries are 100% charges. changed the starter selinoid and relay and still nothing all fuses in panel are good. ANY suggestions what my problem could be? thanks in advance

Check the wiring on the pasenger fender (check fusible links, and for burned wires), this has happened to others before. Chances are its a simple fix.

Look for the big yellow wire right at the bottom of the picture.
Right below the yellow wire you can also see the side of a grey connector that still has a green wire with a red stripe on it.

Mine did about the same thing, when I started looking the grey connector was melted on the side the yellow wire was in.
I cut the wire as close to the connector as I could, the used a copper split bolt to reconnect the wire, and taped it all up good so it could not short out.

The yellow wire is the main power into the cab from the battery.
