shifting problems 93 aro,4.0 4aol

my 93 arostar quit shifting just like the vacume mogulator went bad. one time the hose cracked and fell off, doing the same thing again. have installed a new moduletor, new hoses engine end, and transmission end, thought i had a bad moduletor installed a new second unit, and yes the pin is inside valve. have checked and do have vacume at transmission, seems low did not install a guage yet. will not shift out of 1 gear untill aprox 45 mph, can let off the throtle to make shift through all gears, HELP.

Get all that old fluid out with the gentle flush procedure that is pinned. If you don't get that stuff out, the tranny will tear itself apart.

I agree with Bear, get the old stuff out, and get some high quality Mercon III/V in there.
