Just asking whats easier, Or maybe some tips on what to do.
Bought an 2003, 17K miles, complete for 2700.00 with freight.
Start the removal today, any help on this would be great.

If it was me I would pull all the coolers and upper radiator support and pull the motor out the front. I think thats the easier way, but some like pulling cabs.

If you know how to pull the cab I've heard its quicker that way then taking it out the front. But if you have no experience with that method I'd recommend doing in the old fashioned way of out the front. Remove all that crap thats sittin out front and you'll have yourself a big gaping hole to work with.
If the truck is a standard the clutch has to come off to get the motor out the front.To get the clutch off the transfer case and of course the tranny has to be let go first.PITA

03 Ex LTD mostly stock motor and a bunch of bolt ons on the truck.
I had to replace a frame on a 2003 4-door long bed, and pulling the cab wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I would suggest doing that, cause once the cab is off you have TONS of room.
Just my thoughts.
