Napa Filters

Went to Napa today to get a Fleetguard filter they told me it is $39 freaking bucks. I told them I can get it at the local Case IH dealer for !5 bucks, he said hold on wait I can get it for $22 so he goes and gets it and said here it is. ITs a dang Napa filter...I said screw it and bought it for 22 bucks(more than the fleetguard) Anyone have any experience with them

Napa filters are made by Wix. I have used them for years never had any problems with them. Is it their GOLD line? Those are the only ones I use. They also have a SILVER line, which are cheaper. I'm going more for Motorcraft for our Ford, AC DELCO for our Chevys. WalMart sells them cheaper that Napa Gold.

NAPA filters are made by Wix, one of the better made brands on the market.
Since Hastings Densite disappeared I've used NAPA Gold and/or Carquest, also made by Wix, exclusively with good results

Minor clarification, JIC lurkers are confused.
NAPA "GOLD" are identical to WIX, except for branding "paint." You cannot readily assume that WIX makes other NAPA filters.
