I have tried to post a picture from my document pictures in my signature. When I download a pic from my files it shows up huge on the signature priview. I do not have a picture that meets the size criteria and do not know how to change the size of the origianal. Help is anyone can....
First, to post a picture in your signature or a thread here, you need to have the photo saved to a website like Webshots (I use that one) or Photobucket (popular with others here) or something else like that.
What I do when I have a picture that's too big is:
Make a copy of it and rename it (I'll usually add "small" to the title)
You'll need to edit the size in a photo editor.
From there, it will depend on what editor you're using.
Also, there is a "Testing" thread near the bottom of the Forums List for trying stuff like this. They'll give you some hints and tips, too.
Give it a try. Experimentation is the spice of life. Welcome to
What I did was use tinypic.com for to host the pic in my signature. On the page were you upload your picture before you click upload there is a resize option with a drop down box to pick from and then after you upload it you just copy the link that has the [img] before and after it and paste it into your signature and voila the picture shows up. Hope that helps and didn't just confuse you more.
oh and this is really the wrong forum for this topic but I just happened to be looking around.
