Toyo Open Country MT pics
#16
I can't comment on the Toyo's but the BFG rugged trail 265/70/17E 's are one of Ford's tire option's (at least they were on the 06 model) I have these and like them in most respects except one. They hold stones like there's no tomorrow. They have held up well in snow traction and i have not had to fill them in 40k miles and still have a good amount of tread on them. They are also a pretty quite ride.
Consider what and where you will be using these for. If your not in a snow region and want the bigger tire and the look of the MT than go with the toyo.
You could go with the BFG A/T LT265/70R/17E if you want to keep the original size and get the exceptional results, looks and load range. Or go with the LT305/65R/17E.

No problem, thinking about either getting new rims or getting them powder coated
I live in South East, CT, so we see about 3" of snow when we get it, and only about 3-5 times a year
I tried to clean them every time i drove the truck with salt on the road, but i only have just under 16,000 miles and the truck will be 3 years old in a month, and had the rims for just over a year and a half
I called Moto Metal and asked what to use to clean the rims and i bought the product, not sure what it is off the top of my head, and only used that and soap and water
I only had them on for this winter, and it wasnt a bad one at all. Usually put teh stockers on it, regretting it now tho
If you are about 3 feet away, you cant tell there is pitting, but when u get any closer, you can see near the spokes where it is darker and seems grey, but form father than 3 feet, they shine like new still
Also, my center caps are starting to feel, the chrome on them is not very good, will take pics of them tom

Well as far as up here in Massachusetts like everyone else in 2WD they were good when new, but now with 20K on them they were not as good. I needed 4WD more often but once I was in 4WD I was unstopable.
