I'm goin to be towin a 7500 lb tractor on a tandom axel trailor. My mods are in my sig. Do you think my temps will be too hight? I have no pyro and want to run safe.
I'm towing from rising sun up to route 30 in pa. i'm goin to a place called rough and tumble and wanted to make sure that my temps wouldnt be too high with all my mods. i need to get a pyro soon but i aint gonna get it by 2mro. i'm not tryin to blow my pistons
This makes me wonder, I plan on installing a pyro, boost and temp guage package,
What kind of EGT's Should i see on a stock truck, towing 8k on mild hills?
With Tymar intake, downpipe, and 4" exhaust before I got my chip I could still hit 1200 towing my 22' camp trailer. I'd say a stock truck will hit 1200 easily when working hard. I don't think there's enough fuel to go much beyond that though.

Yeap, me too, easily 1250, towing similar trailer, with my mods, so I NEED chip. What are your numbers after the CHIP? and your settings? And I saw you have an intercooler, that first numbers was with or without the IC?.
I dont have to worry bout it now. I was tryin to unbolt the hitch on the tractor so I could switch out to my pullin hitch and a damn bolt broke. How would you get a bolt out that is hardened steel broke because of me standing on the breaker bar cause it was so tight and a bolt where an easy out wouldnt even work. Drill and tap for a new bolt?
no it bolts into the axel housing. we beat it with a hammr while having pressure applied from an easy out. its solid didnt even move. we were trying to drill it out and it broke a diamond cut drill bit that was ment for metal. the bit broke in 2 spots at the same time and one piece hit my dad in the forehead
