jmcder53 is starting off with a positive reputation.
i just joined this forum, and am currently looking at getting another ranger. i had a 94 teal/beige two tone extended cab, 4.0 v6 automatic, at the time i sold it it had 238,000 miles. it was due for some work, seals were leaking. probably didn't help that i pulled trailers with volkswagens on it that were more than it could pull.
the truck has also set up before i sold it. had some medical issues that restricted me from driving. a deal came along on a 2000 f150 4.6 v8 with 35,000 miles, for me to take my vw to car shows.
well i'm trying to be realistic, i'm unemployed, and once i do get hired, i'm gonna have to play catchup on my bills. not gonna happen with a truck getting 15miles per gallon and takes 70 bucks to fill it up.
so i'm again looking to find a 4cylinder stickshift reg. cab to get me by until i have money again.
but like it was already said, the rangers are almost as expensive as the full size, and the 3.0 and 4.0 v6 don't get much better on gas that the small v8 in the fseries.

Thats to last for a 1,000 years, then he will renew everything in heaven and on earth for all time. The bible version sounds more promising once we get past the 7 year tribulation period, which will be hell on earth, but looks very rosey after that, at least for christains. Since I'm a christain, I believe we have eons of time left to build more rangers and enjoy them. I would love to be able to buy a bare bones 4 cylinder ranger 4x4 again, manual tranny and manual t-case, I supose manual hubs are never comming back, but wouldn't mind having them again. My dealer had trouble keeping ranger XL's on the lot. Thats a 2 wheel drive short bed regular cab, with the 4 cylinder, manual trans, no carpet and just an AM/FM radio with no air. I bought an 01 XL, it was an awesome work truck, in hindsight, I should of kept it. It had low monthly payments of 170.00 a month on a buy, low fuel cost, low insurance cost and muddy boots didn't matter, you could hose it out. A no nonsense truck, thats what I would like to see more of, instead of these 30,000 dollar linclon equiped rangers.
the fact that you can transition from the first topic to the second floors me, grats! +1

seriously, that was one of the most amazing posts I have seen on an internet forum!

But the myans did not say it was going to end in 2012 anymore than our world ends on dec 31. It was just the restart of the calender as they knew it but on a much larger scale than we are used to thinking in.

Sometimes it seems to me that Ford really have not enought money to design and start new models. I hear and read about new small chassis, new powertrain wine 3.5V6DOHC and 6-st auto tranny and 2 SUVs, 1 pick-up truck and new RWD van for last 3 years.

I think it is true, that Ford wants to make new F100, Bronco-III, Aerostar-II, new Explorer, and may be ford does it in secret now. May be there is no enought money now, may be market is still not ready, but we, cunsumers will be the last who will see new generation of small trucks by Ford.

So as I've understood taxes, we all hate, saves the world. Goverment can not imagine world after end of days, where it is impossible to collect taxes..... becouse, no taxes, no power, no goverment. Anarchia!

WOW! It is a new idea!

I have always wondered why nuts and bolts were designed to be tightened to the right instead of to the left. Unless you are trying to fasten the hardware from behind.

There is one answer. Human prefere to operate with right hand.
But left threads are used too.

Why more then 80% drivers drive on right side of road.... And less then 20% - on left, like in Africa, India, UK, Australia and Japan.

Who ever draw RHD vehicle here?

Americans just have to be different, that s why we drive on the proper side of the road and the rest of the world is pretty much ass backwards.
