Summer plans/vacations
So, what's everyone got planned for this summer? After I get out of this stupid refueling outage here at the plant, I'm gonna get the boat out! Taking the family on vacation to Estes Park, then up to Wyoming, eventually getting up to yellowstone at the end of June.
All this along with the usual house projects....
what about the rest of you guys?

I'm going to Colorado Springs around Memorial Day, taking the kids to see the grandparents for a couple weeks. I only get to stay for a few days...I suppose I'll have to go back and get them too! We're trying to find a house by the end of this month, so that will most likely mean a move sometime in June.

Nothing planned right now besides starting work in Columbus on May 19. The gf and her mom both made mention of taking me somewhere with them over Labor Day, so we'll see.

I don't have anything planned. I'll do some local camping up here, but no "real" vacation plans. It costs enough just to get down there and visit family and friends.

Well, I have planned the only real vacation I take every year. A family get together in Kansas City. We have a good sized get together for the 4th of July every year. Maybe, just maybe a trip to Tennesse in the fall to see a buddy of mine.

Spending weekends at the cabin. Fishing on the lake and airboating the Platte and Loup Rivers. Every weekend through the warm months is a vacation.

Oh man, I'd love to go back down there to the lake! We took the boat down there a couple of years ago. I loved it! I wouldn't even care if I went into Branson, I'd just stay on the lake!!

I hear that Darin. We used to go camping down there when I was little, back in the early 70's. There was nothing down there like it is now. Personally, after the last trip down, the only reason I'd go into Branson, would be to take the kids to the go carts maybe. Otherwise, you have to look for me on the lake!

That is a great boating lake. I just wish it was closer to Omaha.
