Does look pretty nice, and if you're a fan of the 8' flaresides, you ain't gonna get too many chances from what I hear. Ain't too common.

My New Old Truck
Hey Guys,
I have been a member of fte for a while but usually stay in the 97-03 forums. I just come across a 1979 f150 4x4 with a 400 and manual tranny. It has been sitting for about three years but i got it running again and it runs great. I have the usual electrical issues and a rusted out freeze plug to deal with but its coming together. heres a pic let me know what you think

Heres my 77, shes a little rough, but I found a parts truck with a few straight panels I need, and should should be heading to paint when I get my nice old government rebate check! But anyway, the price was right, paid $750 for it, and Ive put about another $200 in it fixing some mechanical.

Flaresides are shortbeds right?
if so heres one!
1973 F-250 flareside long bed, ALL original with 28,000 original miles. There are no dents or rust on the truck. Only 2 owners. This truck has always been kept inside. It was previously used by a fire department for field fires. Tailgate was never put on.
