It's Official!!
I found out today that I AM moving.
This really is a good thing,as much of a head ache moving is,especially any kind of a distance, this is the best thing for my family and I.
I will be leaving for Cranbrook somewhere around the 25 of April.
It will be just me,the truck and camper,my fishing rod and some clothes.
I will probably be living in my camper a couple month's.Until we sell our house.
Then we will be buying a home in Cranbrook, and the rest of my clan can move down.
It will be interesting how everything is going to unfold.
We are all pretty excited and look forward to the move,(except my 15 yr.old daughter , go figure)

I enjoy the job very much.
The only problem with the job, is company management around here.
They don't like to give time off to people, even if it is important they are hesitant to give it.
So,people leave Revelstoke which creates a shortage in man power.
What the company decided to do,in order to keep employee's,is,
if you are a engineer and working as one, they won't let you transfer.
Well I got cut back to a conductor 2 week's ago.
If I didnt act on it now,I probably would be stuck here for a very long time.
Normaly I work as an engineer 11 month's out of the year. The next time I get set up as an engineer,I probably will never go back to work as a conductor.
I would be looking at 10-15 years before I could transfer again.
Revelstoke is changing,in a very big way.We don't like what is happening around here.
There are families of five who are living in separate houses because there is nothing to rent.
If you can find something,1500 bucks is cheap.FOR RENT!
We are thinking of the future of our kid's as well.
My daughter will be wanting a place of her own in a few year's.The
way thing's are going it not's going to happen here.
She would need 10 room mates just to afford a place.
Hey Zip,thank's for wishing me luck with the 15 year old,
I already need it.
I'm sick of driving to Salmon Arm every other week to get gun oil
to keep the shot gun in proper working order.OH MY!Haha!

Man, you'll be smack dab in the middle of some excellent country, (I guess that is why someone had the forsight to call the province, beautiful british columbia.)
Had some fun in my younger, single years in that neck of the woods doing some back country hiking.
Enjoying the outdoors in Revelstoke is also so easy, and I'm sure you'll enjoy Cranbrook just the same, they also have lots of open hwy to ride the bike. Good luck.
