I found a '91 f-150 with a 5 speed tranny in it and I was wondering which tranny it is and whether it has overdrive?

Get the model number and part number on it and a Ford shop or parts house can probably tell you exactly what it is.

If it's in an F150 behind a 300 six, it is the Mazda 5 speed. Non-granny first, OD fifth.
