4,000 miles:
I love my truck:
Other pickup trucks say why,
This truck says, why not.
Competing engines try to compare,
The 6.4 PSD offers 350 HP dare!
Gorgeous, imposing, ostentatious & grand,
When this 350 arrives, so does the big band.
Feel like taking this truck, in the rough,
Do it, Cause you know it’s built Ford tough!

I love my F250 6.4. Just had my 5000 mile service, could not be more pleased with my new truck. I will say that I was a bit skeptical about buying this truck w/ all the negative posts about the gas milage. I get 12-13 around town and 17-18 on the highway. Hell it isn't much different from my old F150 Super Crew. It just pulls my boat a hell of alot easier. I do most of my driving around town and, this truck is my only means of transportation. I don't like the price of fuel, but it aint going stop me from driven her. After al it is a truck and if I were that concerned about the milage I would have bought a Toyota or something.
We are extremely happy with our 2008 F-450 (Job 1). With 5,000 miles on the ododmeter, it has not had any issues. It hauls our 5K camper in the bed without any strain, while getting 11 to 12.2 mpg on the highway at 63 mph. It is a 4X2, 4:30 ratio with the 5-speed automatic.
I love my 6.4, it has 18,000 on it and not a single issue. Fuel economy actually seems to be close to what I got with my 2000 7.3, maybe 1 mpg less in some situations. The 6.4 pulls way better than the 7.3 though and the overall feel of the truck is better as well.
Just had the 5000 mile oil change done at the dealer. Get 17 mPG when driving 60 MPH NOT pulling the 40 foot 5th wheel. When we pull the camper, weighing around 15000 lbs, the milage drops to 9 to 10 MPG. When we pull into the campgrounds often there are people waiting to "see the truck." The truck pulls like the camper is not back there. We are very pleased. However, i'm holding my breath waiting for the radiator to start leaking based on what i've read, but it will be covered by the waranty.

I don't have one, but my dad is a diesel tech at a Ford dealership, and he has seen 4 come in with problems. 1 with cracked dpf, another one with fuel mileage concerns, another one with a leaky radiator, and the last one needed to be reflased. He says its a lot better than when the 6.0L came out.

Job 2 , 6.4, 7500 miles. no problems at all . love the truck. Mileage kinda sucks but my old 7.3 was chipped so not much difference, except 6.4 seems to outpull old 7.3.

Job 1 King Ranch 4X4 CC SRW with 3.73. 12,000 miles and absolutely love it! I have had diesels since the '84 6.9 and this is by far the best! Mileage is a concern with the prices as they are but what else can do what it can with this luxury? It's awesome and like many others, I look for an excuse to go drive it.
