Belated Christmas present

Last night I got a belated Christmas present. My cousin is in into doing different types of crafts, the lasted being embroidery. She has a fairly sophisticated machine to do detailed patterns. Last Christmas she presented all of us with blank sweat shirts with the option of having any image we wanted embroidered on them. Of course I chose my favorite picture of my F-2:

Here is the finished shirt:

The pictures don't do the shirt justice, it looks a lot better. She also did a scene for my oldest son with a panaramic view of the family farm that turned out to be too big for a shirt so she stitched on a wide banner, which we are going to frame. I would have posted a picture of that too because it turned out equally awesome as my shirt but she took it back home to add some names and dates and I didn't think of snapping a picture of it before she left.

I can't wait for the spring car shows and swap meets, it's going to awesome to wear it. Stu, if you read this, I wish I had this shirt for our Michigan trip.

Right on!...I'd wear it in a heartbeat.

On a side note, I wear my Hop-Trip hat all the time. Except at work, don't wanna get it dirty.

Scott,

I've yet to order my Hop-Trip stuff. I'll have to put that on my to-do list.

BTW, could you email me a large version of the image you're using in your ever changing signature. I want to use it in my screen saver. I have pictures of really nice looking trucks and the not so nice looking trucks.

yeah, I know the feeling. Today might, I say might, be somewhat decent outside. I don't think this winter wants to leave. Next, the attack of of the killer squeeters.

That is one nice shirt, I would like to have one with my truck on it.
I don't know what everyone is talking about winter hanging on, it is 60degrees, light breeze blowing and I just got though washing the rig in my avatar getting it ready for a group camping trip later this week. I really need to mow the grass, but I hear "Someday" calling, "let's go riding" think I will.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I suppose you have a breeze chill factor of 55º.

It's warmed up to 36f here. windchill 29F. Good enough to install a new grille shell on the wife's Blazer.

Time to go back out and work on the saturn. When can I have some fun?

That's truly super, Bob! Does she do custom work to support her habit? I'd sure be interested! Those iron-on T-shirts are just awful here, like wearing a plastic bag on your chest.

PS -- 70's here today, too cold for much motorcycling, so I guess I'll take a spin in the '52...

I asked my cousin last night when she gave me the shirt how much she'd charge to do them but she wouldn't give me an answer.

I'd bet she'd get a flood of orders, I'd sure pay a fair price for handmade quality like that.
