As i posted before, i did my 06 at 12,000 mi with no problems. Now it was dads turn. His truck is a 2005 w/30,000 mi. Was i worried, you bet. He idles his truck more than me and has been from Houston to San Diego and from Houston to Guadalajara Mx, twice. Little brother drives truck sometimes and when he does -drives it like a bat out of hell. This time he drove his truck for about 40mi and we let it cool down for about 2hrs. The engine was hot, but not hot enough to burn ur hand. Craked all the plugs on drivers side and shot some pb blaster and let sit for about 10mts. They came out with alot less efort than mine did. I did mine while the engine was cold. There was no high screech sound just alot of thud, thud but no problems at all. Then we did the passenger side and the same thud,thud sound but no broken plugs. On his I did remove the braket that holds the computer and it made it a whole lot easier. ONe thing his 05 did still have the p2 plugs.

If I didn't have the redesigned heads, and 1-piece plugs, when it came time to do mine, I'd offer to fly you out here and back, first class, to do mine...
