tranny temp sender?

Ok as usual i tend to be a tad to manly for nuts, bolts, tranny temp sender....... Yep sheared the thing right off in the port above the ??gear selector??. What size is the pipe thread? is it 1/8 npt? I will put it in the pan in 30k miles at next atf change but for now just wanted to hook the gauge up and get and idea of how my tranny's been doing for the last 160k miles. The threads broke off even with the houseing so i am hoping a left threaded screw extractor will get it out, because it never threaded in all the way and is leaking a small bit. So if anyone has the size and any other word of advice for removing the broken sender i would be very grateful!
