progress!!!! WhooHoo!!!

i'm freaking pumped... got the old gal in the shop for the weekend, she should come out on her own steam!!! check it out...









did i mention that i'm pumped???

Good progress and neat picutres Sherm, it`s supposed to be a nice weekend too.
Got my 56 dash finally repainted today. Bummer, the first time there were some runs in it and we ended up with another small one and afew fish eyes!

That shinny new carb and intake looks awsome. I can see your going to be having some fun soon. I like shinny new stuff.

those dashes would be hard to do. many curves and few flats. what type gun are you using??

Actually it`s not a bad dash to paint, just abit awkward like most dashes. Afew hours of wet sanding though!
It`s a Princess Auto HVLP gun that works fairly decent, no issues with it.

well my progress might be slim or none today... up all night puking and crapping... not fun, and i sure don't feel like squatting under my truck

I just bought one of those, a small one only holds about a cup of paint. I got a few projects in mind for this summer.

It`s amazing how well a cheap $37 spray gun works for occasional use. It has a good spray pattern.

feeling much better today, but i need to get an extension for my a/t kickdown rod... could make something up for a quick fix, but i like to do stuff right and shiney...
