Want my 300 back

Hi there, my starter died in my 89 f250 4x4 4.9l 5 spd 140K miles, so I'm temp. driving an 87 f150/302 4x4 4spd 90K miles. I hate the V8 you need 2.5-3g's to get any power, and I need power when we just got 12 inches of wet snow and more on the way. The 302 sucks in snow, the 300 is the best.

fmc400 has a good reputation on FTE.fmc400 has a good reputation on FTE.
...Why don't you just replace the starter then? Are you asking for assistance doing that? Please clarify. Welcome to the site, by the way.

Swapped out the starter this afternoon, so the old beast is back on the road. Just in time the snowplows are slow to get out on the gravels, which have a foot of melting sloppy snow. The 87 f-150 is my dad's, who often calls it the gutless pig, he's right!!!
