The 80's, what about the 60's when you could buy flimsy white wall outlines that you mounted between the rim and the black wall tire. First time you scrapped it on a curb it was a goner. But they were cool and gas was $00.169. That's right 16.9 cents a gal. I know .
I voted white in but have the white out. I guess I am conflicted.
I really think that it depends on the tire and rim size. I like them both ways. Personal opinion- sometimes there is way to much black sidewall of the tire and it looks like you have a big tire and the smallest rim you could find. I have 35's BFG mudders on a 18" rim and have the white out. The next time I will go with 35" Toyo MT's and run them with the black out since that's the only way they are made. Will you be putting them on stock rims and what tire are you going with.
