Put in the cleaned injectors, painted & installed the plenum, and took her for a ride... I think changing the plugs disrupted the wires... So now I need to replace them(they are quite old, but had been working ok... Now I get a little vibration where there had been none) And I'll do the cap and rotor at the same time... Tried to take her for a good run. Unfortunately, a good run does NOT ocur in my area at 5pm on a Friday night, and I caught traffic EVERYWHERE. I wanted to run her for a few miles at speed, and get things fully worked through. Instead, I had 14 miles of stop and go..
Then I got home, and the window motor failed. It is turning-but the gear is not driving the mechanism... Had to pull the door panel to put the window up.
It is a fun week. I'm cleaning the garage today, and working on the TR6.

Replaced the passenger power window motor. Works pretty well, although a little jumpy going down. Also replaced the mid-ship tank fuel sender and pump. Now the fuel system is running darn near perfect with both tanks functioning correctly, and no more ticking/pulsating from the HPFP. Still loses oil pressure after warm up, but makes no noise. Replacement of the mid-ship fuel pump with the 3" body lift was a breeze, especially after I cut the exhaust out of the way. If I had already put the 35's on, it would have been even easier. As it was, I was able to sit just slightly hunched between the frame rail and the tank. Took all of about 15 minutes to get old one out, and put new one in. I tested it out by pulling a small tree out for the next door neighbor. Not a bad Saturday, all by 2:30. Even got the car washed.

Saturday morning after work mine got new parking brake cables, shoes, drums and hardware. Got it apart and found the left side adjuster had a couple missing teeth. Scored one off a parts truck that was seized. A little heat and some antiseize lube made it good as new. Another issue I had to resolve was the gouges the shoes had worn into the backing plates. Mig welder and a grinder fixed them up pretty quick. I should have bought wheel cylinders though. They work but have rust building up in them. That's a project for next weekend.
Took my toolbox out of my other truck painted it black and put it in my green truck. Looks awesome I think, and I finally have all my toolboxes and other crap out of my rear cab. Next I got to pull off those bed rails and paint them properly.
I also pulled my two rear tires and cleaned out the gummy runflat equal that was in there and put in bbs. reinstalled everything and test drove...no more out of balance wobble! 27 oz of bbs in each of the 4 tires did the trick. Hand torquing 48 nuts in stages is an arm workout though..
