I found a 40/20/40 light gray, almost a blue gray from a junk yard for $50. The driver's seat had a tear along with some of the foam MIA. I will in the future reupholster these but I had a set of IH seat covers so I put them on. I thought it turned out great. I robbed the middle seat belt pieces from my parts truck F350, so everyone is safe who rides in the middle. I have to say, that I have found a serious interest in my truck again. There are reasons for it, but I am gaining passion on rebuilding her. I can't wait to get the D60 on the front! I also grabbed from what I can tell the rare drink holder...

Broke out the F150 for the spring, did an oil change and currently hunting for a small coolant leak somewhere it seems to have developed.

Rent a pressure tester. It will make finding that leak much easier.

Installed 4in lift block and took the 3in lift blocks from the rough country kit out. Truck is sitting pretty much level now. While doing this i realised the PO installed the lift block backwards. Had a slight wobble under throttle before. No there id not wobble snd is alot more comfy

Well I wasn't going to spend money on the old girl unless it was to fix an issue, but these were too good of a deal to pass up. They were brand new in box from the guy I got them from. He opened them for the first time for me so I could verify that they were what he was advertising.

Set of NEW diffused clear turn signals with bulbs for $25. I am planning to tackle the EGR and Thermactor issues here in a few weeks to clear up the check engine light.

today i had the pleasure of drilling out and tapping the thermostat housing bolt that i had sheared off, in SPITE of being super careful when trying to remove it.

i have heard that the water pump bolts on a 351 are equally willing to shear off during removal. i guess i should i start soaking them now for the day when i have to do a water pump.

I am digging the Farmall theme...I have the same steering wheel cover, a front vanity plate, plan on getting the floor mats...would love a seat cover..I have the bench seat, and haven't seen a bench cover. Got me thinking I need to head to the junkyard and see about getting a 40-20-40...would have to figure a way for the middle seat to hold my little mans booster though..

Nice to see a Farmall guy on here!

Those look great on your truck.

I glanced at my 88 on my way to my new job wishing I could take it instead of my explorer. Unfortunetly haven't had time to do anymore work to the engine.

Dad replaced the trans filter on the 90 but had a leaky gasket. He thinks he got it now but not sure yet.

Took out the driveline this afternoon to have the Trans rebuilt, and I will be installing new clutch/pressure plate. Took 4 hours to remove the driveshaft, transfer case, and transmission. 2 of the hours were spent trying to get the rusted bolts off of the support member for the trans. Not fun.

last week or so lots of little things like rewiring one of the licence plate lights, finding more little problems and replacing some interior bulbs and cab light lense. Bigger stuff replaced the hood that got jacked up from flying open because of a bad latch and installing a yankee fab job of a 4" straight pipe, a section of flex pipe I had laying around 7 ft of 4" straight pipe and elbow from the local auto store and some black stove paint, looks and sounds great. Coming off a 3" downpipe.

Hood before and after:

Before a final paint coat:
