Pressure washed the whole truck.
And crawled underneath to try to figure out how I'm going to get the rusty bed bolts out.

Changed the oil for the first time since getting the truck. Been running low pressure, so I'm trying some rotella 15-40 for a bit to see if pressure comes back up.

I will be very curious to see how that goes. Are you starting a thread for it?

Checked brakes, ball joints, suspension, etc on my tow truck. Needs ball joints and two tire...

Although the brakes look good I'm probably going to throw the works at the rear. It'll just be a little lower on the priority list.

Check out the spring pack on this puppy!

I'm planning on reinforcing my frame in the areas Centurion should have, and then I'll start on the swap.

Diesel Brad, looks like someone has a nice flatbed in their future!

Today I...

Finally got around to addressing code "67" and the hard, sporadic shifting in my truck. Swapping out the MLPS and connector for the new version and new sensor has, so far, been worthwhile. The truck shifts extremely smooth and does not want to fall out of gear like it once did. Judging by the old MLPS, it was well overdue for a change. Hopefully this will save me from having to buy a new transmission.

Nice looking truck Brad, I don't think I've seen that one.

Lots of work and nothing to check off on my list. Need new schrader valves for my compression tester. Need bolts to plug the air holes in the heads from the Thermactor. Need a new power steering pulley. Don't ask. Found two frozen bolts on the a/c compressor mount. And on, and on.

Actually, I did get one thing done. Got the first layer of grunge off the engine. Yay Gunk!

Finished my CB installation...

So far my setup is a Realistic TRC-440 CB that I'm fairly certain Noah used on the Ark, and a new 102" Stainless Steel whip antenna.

Regardless of age, it works and looks nifty in my truck.

Wow, nice truck Brad! Well, just had rear tank fuel pump put in. Man, Ford sure thinks alot of them. Wish I knew of another fuel pump as good.
