Went to the pull your own salvage place and pulled 2 seat belt buckles and a driver's side metal door handle. Too tired to put them on, but at least I have them ready. If I had time and money I would have taken the steering column out of one of the trucks because it seemed pretty solid.
I started the process of cleaning/polishing the old wheels, center caps, trim rings and hubs. I've decided instead of buying wheels, I would apply that $500 into making it mechanically sound. Overall, the stock steel wheels are really growing on me and will look good once they're wrapped in 31x10.50's.
There's nothing better looking than a clean OEM set of wheels.
Most of that aftermarket stuff end up looking bad in no time and takes way more work to get them back to looking half way decent than the OEM.
Picked up a set of front fender flares for $5 at the local scrap yard for the 92. Lund flares too! They are going to look awesome with the flatbed.

Saturday I changed a leaking rear axle seal, u-joints on the rear driveshaft, t-case and transmission fluid. This is the first time I have changed the fluids in the truck and I was very happy to see the transmission fluid in good shape and also that there were no chunks in the transmission pan.
Today, I installed a new alternator- the bearings were getting noisy.
I have new lock outs coming tomorrow, new wheel covers on Wednesday, and a new front bumper on Thursday. In the next week or two, I plan to powerwash the truck bed and bedliner coat it (two coats). After that, who knows?
Put those seat belts on, reinstalled the air bag, put a cheesy seat cover on, and thought I fixed the seat adjuster. The passenger seat belt install went pretty easy. Driver's side I ended up welding a socket on to the bolt to get it out. Put it back in that way too. The air bag was easy to put back in, but one nut didn't ant to cooperate at first. The cheesy Dickies seat cover only covers the front of the back and seat bottom. And it is just a hair too narrow. Had it on hand for awhile from another project, I am glad I didn't just waste my money. I will need to find a better solution. Thinking if I can find a seat at the junkyard it will be almost as cheap as a seat cover. For now I will just deal with it and maybe throw a blanket on the bottom. The seat adjuster I did not get tight enough, just didn't feel like messing with it again.
