What have you done to your truck today?
i just bought this truck about a week ago.. maybe 1.5 weeks.. i have no clue if it was factory i have been searching around and can't find any.. i actually have the original sticker window when it was sold new in anchorage alaska and it doesn't say it has it but it also did have a section for dealer modifications that you can't tell what the writing is on it anymore due to the piece of paper being 24-25 years old..
note, went out today to 4 different shops and a glass installing company and i can't seem to find the weather stripping it uses.. i am running out of options here and i only get about 1-2 days without rain per week.. today was my good day.. tomorrow we are expecting tornados and rain.. again.. i am thinking it is aftermarket but everything looks really nicely done.. not jerry rigged..no nasty weld marks and everything seems really centered..

Bought new battery post clamps today, will install tomorrow afternoon. I also bought a rattle can of krylon exterior flat black paint. The gray insides of my front grill are intact but the paint is worn thin or off in places. I plan on taping off the chrome, putting some cardboard in front of the radiator and spaying it in place. That's why I bought the krylon rather than rustoleum, the krylon dries in 10 minutes, the rustoleum takes a few hours, I should be able to start a second coat where I started the first without stopping. I have no worries about it sticking to the plastic.

what part of nc are you in bro? we are getting some strange weather aren't we..? North Carolina home of the bi polar weather.. snowing one day 70 and sunny the next day.. tornados the next day.. (last week)
Yea last week was nuts. My hometown is Monroe, but right now I'm going to school in Greensboro
"It's 5 screws to remove the grille. I would HiGHLY suggest removing it first it's much easier then removing the overspray off the front of the truck lol "
I'll have no issues with overspray. the only thing exposed will be the insides of the grill. I am very meticulous about painting prep and taping, the bumper will be covered in taped down newspaper, the hood will be opened, the lights will be covered and my coats of paint will be very light. I may not have a clue on how to work on my transmission, but I can paint up a storm very neatly
