Was standing in the garage and noticed a can of tire foam on the floor. Applied a liberal coat to all four, even though it's used to haul junk and is currently full of junk. It looks quite funny with shiny tires.

I washed mine yesterday, and today installed new speakers, trying to get rid of a rattle sound on certain songs thinking that my 14 year old stock speakers where going out, and then when I was done it still has the same rattle sound. The rattle sound is only on certain songs, seems to be mainly country music, it just devoloped recently. My CD player is new installed 2 months ago. Any ideas? Thanks

Drove it to work again. The trans code light started flashing at me.. fun fun... Cruise Controll was on at 65mph going up a bridge and the next thing I know the CC is now off with the od off light flashing. Shifts fine, oil presure was normal, water temp was normal, and fluid level was normal(was still pinkish red). However when I started teh truck back up the OD light no longer flashes at me.

I just had that rattling with the door going over bumps. When I loosened the striker there wasn't much play so I hit the striker with a rubber malet and they came loose. How I aligned the doors was making the door flush with the cab and moving the striker up to align with the body lines.

The way you can tell you need new door pins by lifting the door slightly and feeling if there is play. If you have play, you will need to replace door pins as well.

Yesterday truck got five new 31" tires, oil change, and a wash. Today, changed lower rad hose. Previous owner had put on one that was too long and was rubbing against one of the steering bars. Replaced it with the proper hose. And recalibrated my speedo for the new tires.

changed the starter, did some cleaning to it. somehow i punchure a small hole on one of the transmission lines. then i tryed to replace the tranny dipstick tube and found out the bracket that holds the dipstick tube is held by a bolt on the bell housing. i couldnt get it loose with very little room. just about fed up with crappy engineering.

I pulled the door panels, drowned the inside of the doors with used oil, lubed all the door parts and put the panels back on. Did the same for the tailgate. Still got more to do this week.

Drove it to work with 0 psi of oil pressure (been doing this for 6 months) Replaced the valve cover and upper to lower plenum gaskets and air hammered out the pilot bearing of my future engine. Still have to do the side cover gasket and rear main seal and it'll be ready to put in.

Picked up a set of wheels for the bronk, had the calipers lock up on it on its 1st trip after sitting for 2 years. Got a tailgate for the truck and drove the **** out if it. Powerwashed both the other day.

Hooked mine to a trailer and hauled a mower around.
