Replaced the locking latch for my toolbox. I bought the truck with the box included from a government auction... toolbox keys weren't included.

I had to drill out the rivets holding in the old latch, and since the holes didn't match, drill/rivet the new one in place.

Nice thing about the new latch/lock... it's keyed with my trucks ignition key. No extra key on my keychain!

I like these trucks better without that huge bumper. Now to find a good prerunner and skidplate
Question, what did the previous bumper look like?

Scored a nice set of headlights at the you pull it yard this morning. The old ones are so bad I'm constantly high beaming oncoming traffic and they don't seem to notice. Tried a couple of those restoration kits. Helps for a bit then it's back to the same yellowed out old lights. Gotta find time to change them.

Picked up a replacement heavy duty radiator yesterday, and installed it last night... It was a decent deal- I went through a local radiator shop, and picked up the heavy core one for $150. which is right in line with Rock Auto and others, except no shipping. I did have to modify the top & bottom frames by adding a couple holes, so I could use the existing radiator shroud... Having proper tools was nice- I punched an initial hole with a Whitney Power Punch, and t hen used a small bite nibbler to take them to proper size... The shroud fits nicely, just like a factory job!

Took her for a ride, and all seems well- drove her into work today. (Although the vent window got used for passing the toll for the bridge through- I still have to address the failing driver's side window motor!)

Now if I can only get this fuel consumption issue worked out!

Well I put my 8" drop hitch back on, and that left me with my light up hitch cover.. so, I took the emblem/wiring and put it over the smaller factory emblem on the grille. I think it looks alright (and I can wire it to light up blue still). I can always take it off if I ever want the old style back.

Took the 94 for a 400 mile round trip. First true road trip with it. Did ok. Averaged 15.6mpg. 2 lane and some 65 driving no cruise control.

Blower motor wouldn't work on anything but high. Replaced the original resistor block. Works just like new!

Got the rear wheel cylinders replaced on my 96 today. Although I had new lines I figured I would at least attempt to get the tube nuts loose. Patience and a little help from a propane torch got them loose. Got it bled out and done pretty quick.

Reinstalled the injectors a few days back, and then found the radiator was cracked... Replaced the radiator Thursday, and fixed the window motors(separate thread) yesterday...

Here's a couple pics of the injector job- I also painted the upper intake, although I should have used a lighter gray...

Got the truck to the point that I can actually use it to haul. The first load since I bought it a few months ago was some mulch. The wife is glad to have a truck that is no longer just yard art.

The passenger window was having a hard time going up on just the motor. Installed a new window regulator and it works as it should. It is amazing how loose the rivets were on the old one.

Brother picked up 2 door panels for the 91 F250 along with some bolts needed to get the engine build moving. Also he installed the crank and rods with new clevite bearings in his 460 he is rebuilding.

Other brother picked up a steering gear box for his 91 F150 and put the roll bar in the bed. Also he reinstalled the seats and we straightened the rear bumper. Also me and dad decided we were going to give him my extra chrome wagon wheels and he can paint the middle black with plastidip to see if he likes it. Luckily I have 2 sets of them.

Removed the ladder rack off the 95 F250 utility bed.

Dad took one wheel and tire off brothers 91 F150 to put on his 90 F150 and will be taking the other soon. Got tired of the rear tires going flat.

Finished routing the spark plug wires, installed the radiator, installed the shroud, installed the rad hoses, installed clutch fan, and picked up some more vacuum line stuff for my 88 F150. Hopefully tomorrow while I am off I will get her fired up and broke in!

This was in the past week. I have been so swamped I haven't been able to do much to my 88.

On the 91 F250: removed the mud flaps and cleaned up the wheels. Looks way better. Also checked the rear brakes but couldn't get the left rear drum off.

On the 90 F150: picked up a 302 that we are going to rebuild with some roller cam parts I have and going to stick it hopefully in their. Then if the 300 I6 doesn't run in the 91 F150 going to rebuild the 302 in the 90 F150 and stick it in their.

On the 91 F150: brother started cleaning up it a bit.

On my 88 F150: broke in the engine and found a list of things I need to do before I start driving her.
