What have you done to your truck today?
Filled up the tank today. 200 miles driven, 50 of which had a trailer and Explorer in tow, and 50 with just the empty trailer. 14.9 MPG. My last fillup was 14.5, and the truck didn't do any work on that tank.
Apparently it gets better mileage when it's working than when it's being lazy. Pretty sure some law of physics is being broken here.

saved up the $$$ to get the truck diagged and finish fixing the remainder of its codes, and will be taking it to a place that I feel charges very fair prices for what I have them do and already take the two cars to, the local shop Car Masters (Lexington Ky) IMHO does very good work, and will have them resolve the EGR valve isssues for me due to my back being out of commission sadly, but I know they will get her running smoothly again, also pressure washed the truck to get the tree stuff off, mainly berries and things like that, sap too...
Jaime, My wife and I were just in Lexington a couple of weeks ago. We were visiting her Dad (he lives over by Man of War and Richmond road) on the way to her cousins funeral in Ohio. If I knew you were there we could have stopped for a few.
P.S. He has a sweet 1967 Pontiac Grand-Prix Convertible in his garage. He bought it new.

Mine gets the same, regardless...affected more by driving style than load. Towed the jeep on a trailer down to Moab, UT and back and got the same MPG as I do normally. Only time it changes is when I stomp on the accelerator...then it goes way down. :P
Got truck back from pinstripe today, sanded down lower part of rear bumper, primed and painted it dark gloss grey, took all the plastics off and sprayed em black. Also got a NOS grill emblem off ebay and put that on!

Edit - the pic didn't come out in my reply but it is the 3rd pic down in your original post.
