The engines Frederick builds are insane.

I know Ive been talking about turbos for George here lately but the only way it will happen is if I took it to someone and said "call me when its done." Im not too crazy about swapping over to efi but the more I read the more I change my mind about blow through carb setups.

blow threw carbs are great but the bonnets suck. to much trouble to unscrew just to adjust the carb. then they always leak and a blow threw carb prob setup cost about as much as most efi setups. i hate efi but with turbos its really the best way to go.

another prob with goin efi on George is your heads. i know you know it but the efi heads and carbed heads are 2 different monsters. you would have to have a carbed intake drilled and injector bungs welded in. then make a adaptor for the throttle body to the carb mount. which could be easily done but it would take some time. headers arnt a prob if you use Frederics idea.

God i wish i had my own shop.

Thats why Ill get someone else to do it if I ever get serious.

What I was looking at is either a blow through dommy or a predator carb.
If I went efi I know a guy who is modifying victor intakes to accept efi throttlebodies. That would have to be my route because Im not pulling the TFSs for crappy fulie heads.

Tony,
I guess we were typing the same thing at the same time.

Victor intakes have the provisions for direct port nitrous bungs all you have to do is drill them out. Instead, just drill them to fit the injectors

yeah when i was lookin at building my 460 i wanted efi for a future turbo setup but i didnt want those stupid heads. that whole truck went to the scapper, which sucked as it was crew cab dually. but the body was shot and no one makes replacement panels anymore. least not the ones i needed. should have kept the enigne and tranny and rear as it had the 10.25 c6 460 in it. but i didnt even think about it at the time i was so pissed.

Tony, what about blurry94? (I think thats his name) he's pretty good w/ ford efi as well.

Kris, I think for a turbo carb blow through all you need would be a Boost Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator summitracing.com

is anyone good with computers?

on this site and one other I stay logged in all the time but on 2 sites every time I want to post or search I have to retype my username and password several times before it goes through. It says thanks for logging in STG then double back to the login page. Ive deleted my cookies and Ive got my internet settings as low as I can. What else do I need to do?

I cannot mention said unnamed websites for fear of panties being bunched.
