Flathead Six chrome air cleaner???

I just put a Holley 897 carb on a "H" series flathead six (226 cid) and I'd like to put a chrome air cleaner / paper filter on top of it. However, this carb uses the special V shaped clamp instead of a center hold-down bolt. Throat size at the top of the carb is 2-5/16" OD. From there it goes down about 1/4" then flares out to the V which is about 2-3/4" at max.

Need one that is low-profile cause I only have about 2.5" clearance above the top of the carb.

Any ideas??

I don't remeber clearence being a issues just the width and adapter plate are sold so you can put a air cleaner with a 4 inch opening (example) and the adapter plate permits to sit on a 2 5/16 carb.

Hopefully this is a answer I had a little trouble in your wording.
