well i check out where to put the turbo, looks like the best place would be the driver side of the motor, under the oil filter, i may have to move the oil filter so i can put the turbo a lil higher so it will drain into the oil pan, the only hard time i'm have is trying to hold up the turbo it's almost 30LB's and trying to see where to put it , but i will make some bracket's tomorrow to hold thing's up (any one in central louisiana) c u

You should have more than enough room on the passenger side below the manifolds for that turbo. Much larger turbos (Holset B1's for example) have been able to fit there.

Consider replacing your log exhaust manifold with EFI manifolds and fab dual j-pipe with a T3 flange(at least I presume that you bought one with a T3 vs the larger T4) . With the turbo in this location you plumbing headaches should be a lot less than running back and forth to both sides of the engine bay.

turbo

hello ever one, well i know where i'm going to put the turbo, it's will be right on top of the pass/side motor mount just in front of the exhaust outlet, i will come out the exhaust with a 180 U-bend go in between the motor and exhaust outlet along side the freeze out plugs then with a short 90 l-bend with a t3/t4 flange, come to find i have a friend that work's at a muffler shop and i'm going to bring the exhaust/intake manifold to there shop and bend up some peaces of tubing and then i will weld the up myself at my shop, i think i will need to move the alternator up a lil so i will be able to install the air intake to the front of the turbo, i have alot of room out the back of the turbo for the 4" exhaust, i hope by monday i may be on my motor, once the turbo get's installed it's all cake after that,,,,,thank's,,, c u later,,, the last f-100

thank's chrono4 for posting my pic's, i just wanted it to be seen by other's so it may help someone out, also check out classicinline.com they have alot of ford 6"s, the fastest 6 cyl is a falcon with a 200 6, it has a t-4 turbo, a classic inline new alum-head,alum-manifold, dui distributor it does the 1/4 in the mid 10's has over 450HP and over 500LB of torque, they have all kind's of speed part's for ford 6's most for 170,200,240, but some for the 300, they are now doing a alum-head for the 300 it was going to be out by the end of last year by some one mess up on the plan's so it was held up, when the made the head for the small 6's they give i think 3 or 4 out the gear-heads on the classic inline forum, what luck, when will be my turn. check it out it's all on there,,,,thank's again for posting the pic's,, c u later,,,the last f-100
