Welcome new member SanFORD100 to our chapter
Hey everyone,
I want to welcome our newest member, SanFORD100, to our chapter. He and I have the same taste in Ford vintages, 1970. He lives in the Eastbay.
Here is some information SanFORD100 shared about his projects and other stuff
I hope he can find some peace with his '03 and what went wrong with it.
Once again, welcome to our chapter. We are a fun group that has lots of smart members that get together from time to time. I look forward to seeing you in the Forum and hopefully see your '70 as well.
Karl

I'm the proud owner of a 1970 f-100 Lwb 2wd. It wasn't my first choice in project vehicles, but i couldn't beat the price. I've got a whole lot of plans for it now though (just no money!). It was my first Ford product, and I thought they can't be too bad nowadays, so I bought an 03' F-150 supercab with the 5.4L. Big mistake. I now swear that I won't own another new one, at least until I get that bad taste out of my mouth.
I consider myself a decent shadetree mechanic, as long as you don't mention fuel injection or transmission rebuilds (factory builds them with black magic). My brother and I are totally hopeless gearheads, and have since polluted my 2-1/2 year-old as well (still working on polluting the wife, they're highly resistant!). Hope this sums it up!

Karl, under your leadership our creatively maladjusted family has grown.
Welcome SanFORD100! Oh, and wives tend to be highly resistant to a lot of fun things. To quote Jag Red 54, "Yea- I like the re-ring idea. Fixng is much better than replacing." Well, cheaper anyway.
