Well I know the chapter leader voting has been closed for awhile but it took a lil bit to get my head wrapped around the whole thing. The members of this site have always been more to me than a bunch of guys on an internet forum, you are some of the greatest people I have ever met and consider you my friends. And to be voted in as the guy to lead this chapter on is an Honor to say the least. I can only hope to live up to the same standards as those who have had this position in the past. I would like to thank each and every one of you for this opporotunity and promise to do my absolute best to continue to make the Kansas chapter bigger and better!

 

Thanks Duane for all you have done for the chapter. You and Chad have brought a lot to this place and prowd to be here with you. Just let me know when your ready to make it official.

 

uh, since i have little to no clue what this is about, it's all good here, especially since i'm no stranger to leadership and people who know their stuff... yeah, it says i signed up in feb 07, i think, but i really didn't hang here until something like last week. this is 'bout as good as my other 'net hang out spot! the two greatest things in my life (other than my woman, of course), guns'n'trucks!

Ditto on what Garden Spyder said. Jack, you've been a great leader the last few years and started a bunch of great things. Duane and Chad, I know you will continue to make this a great site and good place to keep in touch with friends.

The leadership at the Kansas Chapter over the years has been great in keeping this thing going and growing. That includes Rollie before when I first started to hang out here and the folks in between.

 

They are some pretty big shoes to fill, so Chad and I will have to both wear them (not at the same time, that would just be wierd!)

Chad and I have talked about it and would like someone to volunteer to be an "Events coordinator" This used to work out well in the past having someone to post threads or polls about g2g's and such and call and make the reservations if needed. So if anyone wants to step up that would be great!!

Jack, whenever works for you, you got Utah to deal with for now so it can wait till you get back if you want.

 

Well Duane it's all up to you now. LOL I know you will do a great Job and take the Kansas Chapter forward. Chad as a running mate I think is just great in the tradition of other great running mates (Dan Quayle comes to mind) LOL

Would like to take an opportunity to thank Jack for the great job he did and chapter leader and for the amount of time he put into this chapter.

Great people here and with Duane and Chad holding the reins it should be a wild ride.

The people in the KS chapter keep setting the standard for what a local chapter can be and what it can do.

Hats off to Jack for doing an outstanding job!
