I thought I would post the weather outlook for Smokin. I doesnt look good for friday. Sat. there is about a 30% chance of rain.

I seen 6,8,10 and it looks rough for friday all around 70% with cooling off Saturday. Hasn't the mountains been missing the rain the past few weeks?

 

I'm still going. This ought to be a picnic compared to my days in the military.

 

Gonna be 81 and sunny on Thursday. I will enjoy that.

 

I will too running my 966F Cat waiting to get off heh. Rain or shine we can still have a great time this only happens once a year.

 

Jason, that doesn't exactly match up with the radar I've been watching. Fortunately, the first band of rain fizzled away before it got here. It is still ugly in Arkansas though. I just don't know if I should wash the truck tomorrow or not. I am thinking not, I'll take it somewhere there and do it. What a dump it is inside, crap from hunting season still. Now there's a bunch of beer in it.

81 is sounding real good to me. In these parts, the forecast can change by the hour.

 

Mike that is my plans to wash the truck on the way up there, if not I am sure there is some car washes around Newport. I know there is a few nice ones down in Piegon Forge and Severville. Are they going to hand out Adam's Polish supplies this year for the Shine and Show particpants?

 

I was going to wash the truck this afternoon, but it started raining and I said forget about it. I'm headed on a 10 hour trip anyway, who knows what I'll get into on the way there. I figure if need be, I'll just wash it there. I'm taking a few cleaning supplies with me in the toolbox, just in case.

I did clean up the chrome on the wheels yesterday though. Brand new center caps on some very dirty wheels didn't look right. They're a little dirty from the rain today, but at least it matches now. Should blast clean pretty easily now though.
