Question Anyone help me with "gasification" burning specs?

I have been experimenting with a home made WVO gasifier, and got a 4-stroke lawnmower engine running from it.

I have plans to go "V8 truck" scale, but need more info...

Does gasified WVO burn:

Rich=hotter, like diesel injection, or
Lean=hotter, like gasoline engine.....

???????

IE, when I remove the fuel injectors on the v8 (TBI), will i still need a butterfly valve to meter air intake? Or can I just meter the gas alone?

I cant keep the mower engine running long enough to measure, and I'm not spending time inventing a gasifier metering system for a mower.....\\

Anybody?
Anybody heard of this before even?

Thanks!
