How long did it take to reach that speed, and I have 33 inch michelin tires on my truck, and a lift kit, so I guess that would slow me down some. So there is a governor, or what I can't hit 90 hardly. I want to at least be able to beat a 6 cylinder grand am

I have a 1992 Ford F-150 XLT twith 302 motor
Use to race leaving Vo-Tech near my house. You start downhill(not much) after a quater mile and and after about 3/4 to 1 mile would finally hit it. Running 235/75 R15. Took a while but it would push it. Only 90 mph what's your gear ratio and tranny. If lower gear ratio it may not allow it to hit 110 cause of say just an rpm limiter (just guessing).
