Nothing going on this spring?

Here's an update on me, I guess...gonna add another car to the fleet come June...girlyfriend and I are looking for a house to rent TOGETHER...eeek! I'm still workin' waaaaay too much, but I'll take some time off from the second job when the kids get here for the summer...

I know man, It's dead in here!!
Nothing new with me just making a lot of trips down home to see my son.
Cleaning up the lake house to sell.

 

It's BEEN dead in here for a few months now... Used to be monthly meet-ups, groups going to car shows... hanging out together, but that all seems to have gone away.

 

Amen to that.

The question is...what do we do about it?

While monthly has been a bit challenging for me, I've tried several times (maybe 3 or 4 a year...) to put something together without much in the way of results...

Any ideas?

For the moment, as the weather gets nicer, I'll try to put a meet and greet together here on the KC side...and we should all keep in mind that anyone, anywhere in the state can put together a meet...it ain't gotta be me.

Let's see, yearly managed to break the split bone on her right foreleg. Both pregnant mares foaled, colt Feb 25th and a filly Mar 12th.

The new fillies mother tried to reject. Which resulted in 5 days of every 2 hours going down to the barn and making the mare allow her to nurse. Tests showed that the fillie effectively got no collestrum from mom, so we had to IV 2 liters of plasma to jump start her imune system.

Oh, and set work my full-time job and try to keep up the regular farm chores.

Just Spring

 

wellllllllllllll new kid plus my 2 nephews living with me.. makes 6 kids and a ton of fun at home diesel is running agian... mustang is not running the suburban needs a rear end the truck needs a tranny... mmmm not much going on...

 

Not much for me either. Just a ticket to fix and still playing in the truck. Nope, havn't blown it up again.

 

All tied up with newest parts trucks. 79 F250 4x4 ext cab 400 4spd. Getting all I can off her before she goes to the scrapper Wasn't much there to start with fnt axle, trans, xfer, steering columb already gone. Bed rust bomb ect.... D60 rear axle at least was still there.

Mostly dodging water and even a few (way too many) Tornadoes. Actually under warnings at this moment. Gotta love sw mo.
Also busy looking for a trailer that will hold my (spoiled) son's 4 wheeler, and a dirtbike I'm getting for me.

 

I too am in southwest MO this week go back to STL on friday.
I have been playing with my son for two days and am beat. good news though my son is staying the night with me i will post pics of us with the truck later

A sad FORD day today , the 79 F250 4x4 Ext cab 400 4Spd went to the scrap man
But do not cry to much I stripped her to the bone, she was a frame, cab and rusty bed
and a questionable engine block. So now I have extra hood,doors,fenders,all glass,
D60 rear axle, fnt springs with frame hangers. Ect.... Sold a pair of rear shock frame mounts to a guy in Indy. Any body need anything?

I am trying to get every ford guy in Mo that I know to get signed up and on here. Maybe a FREE BEER GTG. I will try to get a bar owner I know to sponser us/FTE.

Of course the FREE BEER would be for all us original's. Ha Ha now thats funny me and my whole 37 posts. Just thought I would give everyone a laugh.

Really I know this old bar guy he might go for it? Big gravel lot, FORD truck show, monster truck rally, dancing girls ect... Ha aha ah aha ah ah ahahahaha.
