4.5" lift on factory rims
For those of you interested in knowing how a lift looks with factory 20" rims, here it is.
I finally pulled the trigger on the ICON (formely DONAHOE) 4.5" lift with BFGs 285/65/20 (34.7") on factory 20" rims.
A lot of folks lift their trucks but swith out the factory wheels for aftermarket for the bigger tires. I like my rims and did not want aftermarket, no to mention the additional cost.
I am very pleased with the results. I was debating on the leveling lift ICON offers but concluded on 4.5 inches. Not too tall, not too little. Perfect for my likes, plus I can still tow without much interference.
Appearantly, because of the on going issues with the lift manufacture, the cause of backordered shocks forced the place who lifted the truck to use near replacement ones. In the front they included FOX 2.0 and for the rear they used CST, which I've not heard much from.

King.....curious as to what your mileage is with the lift and tires. You can read my signature as to what I am running. Have been curious as to what my mileage would have been if I stayed at 4.5" and only done a 9" wide rim with a slightly smaller tire.
And if anyone is curious, stock I was getting about 16-17 cruising mostly on the interstate and now probably average more like 13-15. Interested in knowing if an inch or so in height and tire makes a noticable difference or if it is splitting hairs.

I apologize for not considering the view of the rims in the picture. Go figure, that was the main reason for the thread.
Pickupman, I drove the truck home from the shop saturday so I have only driven it a couple days so far -- 300 miles at the most. I haven't been able to tell any difference as of yet but I will tell you one thing, the speedo is dead on. The difference is so marginal, there is no way you can tell with the needle.
Based on my simple calcuations, I should only be about an inch taller than factory tires (275/65) which therefore, my guess would be it's going to be so slight, I won't notice any mileage difference. That was my main concern also because I average 40K a year and mileage is a big factor for me.
OK, here are the pictures:
